I haven't been to a meet this week yet because they were closed on labor day and haven't had a chance to make one yet. I will be Friday thou and excited to see if I'll be getting my 5 lb sticker or not. Fingers crossed! This week has been difficult I want to eat everything, but I'm not. I was hungry earlier today and craving McDonald's however halfway there I turned around and went home. I felt very proud that I didn't give in because I would have felt horrible afterwards. It I'm going to indulge it better be worth it, and McDonald's is not worth it!
Today me and my boyfriend are celebrating 2 years together! I made him a gift and I'll post a pic of it. Let me know what you think. I'm not super crafty, thank god for pinterest. Its kind of a mixture of two posts I saw and morphed it into one. I used chalk board paint so we will be able to wirte notes to eachother :)

learning to blog, feeling motivated!
Since this is my very first blog, it is taking a little time figuring out how it all works, however I think I am starting to get it down. Hopefully in the next few days I will have time to take new pics and post. I might even do a vlog, if I am able to post videos here but all I have is my iphone video. Can I post videos here, and with someone as simple as my phone? I guess we will find out :)
I am feeling very motivated, I am finally getting a better schedule at work which will allow me to find a better eating schedule/routine. I need routine in my life, it helps me stay on track! My normal weight in day since I started WW is monday however since tomorrow is labor day no meetings, which means I wont be able to make one until later this week. I am actually glad about that because last wed-fri were not good days for me so this allows me to get back on track (which I have) and hopefully lose more at my next weigh in! I am also starting my work out routine this week. I go to a gym although the past month I have not, I am getting back on the saddle. I will mostly work on cardio while at the gym. I have come to love the eliptical. Goal is to go 5 times this week. I am excited and motivated, and cannot wait to hit the gym in the morning. Weight watchers and first blog ever!
Hi, my name is Rachael and on August 20, 2012 I started weight watchers! I love the program because it is all about living a healthy lifestyle which is something I am embracing. I believe no diet will work unless it is something you can do for the rest of your life, and I know I can do weight watchers for the rest of my life. Losing weight and eventually maintaining my weight will be something that I will struggle with for the rest of my life. I am an over eater, I do not know if that is something I was just born with or I learned growing up, or perhaps a little of both. I am 24 years old and have been over weight ever since I can remember. I know I can lose it, I have always know that I can but I always put it off. Well not anymore. I will make small changes, small changes that will add up to amazing changes. I am so excited to see my success and failures threw out this whole journey. I say I am excited to see failures because no journey is a true one without failure. Just because you fail doesn't mean its over, it just means you work harder tomorrow.
My starting weight was 244.? and I lost 4.2 on my first weigh in. I will be going to my second weigh in next Wednesday, and I hope to get my 5lbs sticker however this has been a very hard week. I went to the Oregon State fair last wed. ate horribly and the following two days I didn't do very well, however I am back on track. Although it has been hard and I have wanted to eat everything! I am focused and want to see the scale go down at my next weigh in. I need support, so please any words of encouragement is so greatly appreciated! Any advice on weight loss, or exercise is needed! I will be posting pictures and expanding on this blog throughout the week. Wish me good luck!
